The Creative Paper That Cannot Be Overlooked
 
Tant, which sits on the shelves of paper shops in every city, is not strange to the friends who like handmade crafts.
It has 126 different colours and the price that is very suitable for general public. It is a commonly used type of paper in Taiwan.
However, because the texture on the surface is quite obvious, the brighter coloured papers need to be carefully selected in accordance with the theme. This relatively reduces its opportunities in being applied to printing products.
 
Perhaps the fact that the trace of Tant can be commonly found in clipboards, kindergartens and handmade crafts, plus it is cheap and is commonly available, the image of Tant has been classified as cheaper papers, and hence it has been overlooked.
 
The artist uses the low pylon technique to cut it into all kinds of different triangles. It is then made into a collage.
The brighter coloured parrot is chosen as the theme, hence the colours have been separated and processed.
Using Tant’s advantage of having variety colours as the basic concept,
The artwork that stands out from that of the previous image of Tant is produced.
This also lets the audience redefine and reconsider the applications of paper in creativity.
