The Beautiful and Elegant Luster
In Taiwan, the paper with the surface that gradually alters with color as the angle to the light changes is very popular. Its special feature is that there is a layer of luster on the surface of paper.
Each paper mill has its own different ingredients in the manufacturing process of this luster.
This results in the special effects of the mixture of ink and the luster.
This Majestic sample is the factory original sample from the Italian paper mill – Favini. In order to effectively apply the luster of the paper, “Peacocks” is selected as the theme of its design in the printing.
This type of paper usually has quite excellent results in printing.
From injecting toner printer at home to automatic printer, hot foil embossing and etc.
most of the common printing techniques can all be well applied.

In the example of “The Peacock Skirt” on the right, the author uses ink in combination with white paper as its design.
However from the design application perspective, a different colour to the original white base could be tried.
Perhaps an ideal result could be achieved by testing and discovering the effects of different paper and printing techniques.
